Photography is for me the most veridical record of reality. Creating one self- portrait every day- since 17 of october 2015 till exhibition opening in march- becomes a process of recording the passage of time and emotional states. Each immortalized in photography image is definied by a particular color, reflecting the dominant emotion of that day. Arranging photographs according to dominant color, not chronology, enables an emotional narrative, overriding the sequence of tenses. Similarly the human memory works- recording, trying to sustain the course of events, while at the same time it blurs and distorts images of the past, giving us endless possibilities of interpretation. Smooth transitions of colors, based on the scheme of “Chevreul” wheel, point to fading memory and its emotional character. The colors, aiming for the center of the wheel, are also approaching to white color - the balance state, as well as the combination of all the colors and emotions in perfect proportion.
